     Welcome to NIPAWIN, Saskatchewan's recreation wonderland.

    MacSwaney's cabins are modern, fully equipped, wheelchair accessible cabins located in a naturally treed area overlooking Tobin Lake in Nipawin Regional Park. This natural area boasts many amenities including 125 serviced campsites, a children's sprinkler pool, barnyard zoo, large, well-equipped playground, miniature golf course, stocked trout pond, nature trails, and an expansive picnic area with camp kitchens, fire rings and barbeques. There are also serviced group camping sites, chalet rentals for meetings and banquets, ball diamonds, boat rentals, house-boat rentals, confectionery, food outlet, fuel, bait and tackle store, two concrete boat launches, a filleting house and wheelchair accessible boat docks.

    The Evergreen Golf Club in the Nipawin Regional Park is a beautifully landscaped 18 hole, par 72, 70.8/120 slope course that boasts lush fairways and manicured greens amidst a forest of northern spruce and pine, giving it a top 100 course rating in Canada by Golf Ranking magazine.

    Fish Tobin Lake and enjoy one of the finest Walleye fishing areas in Canada. The lake boasts  a wide selection of other species as well as Northern Pike, Sauger, Perch, Goldeye and Sturgeon.

    Nipawin is a full service community, only 2 km from cabins, providing shopping, restaurants and convention facilities. 

    Other summer activities in this area include outstanding wildlife and scenic photography, historical points of interest and a haven for naturalists and archaeologist.

  

A park for all seasons, Nipawin is the gateway to the north with over 250 miles of groomed, signed and designated snowmobile trails, renowned for their beauty and quality. These trails link in to the Trans-Canada trail system. Cross-country skiing, ice fishing, curling and hockey round out the winter activities.
